Hi all :-)
Blog post #2! YAY!
Hope you had an awesome time celebrating Christmas and the New Year- I love the build up to Christmas - the same old songs, my annual Christmas jumper which says “Christmas calories don’t count”, (definitely lying to myself!) and Christmas Eve panic wrapping!! After the craziness I am so happy to pack it all away and have a fresh start, clean the house and get organised. With the fresh start, now is the perfect time to be organising a wedding! For those who are engaged, congratulations :-) hope my blogs bring some wedding inspiration!
This is the first wedding photoshoot I have had the pleasure to be involved in!! I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know some of the other wedding suppliers in Cornwall. Captured perfectly by Arianna and styled beautifully by Jen from Weddings Made In Cornwall.
It was set on a cold winters day in the heart of Cornwall. It featured a stunning alternative to a traditional wedding - a Wild Tipi wedding, with its roaring fire, sheepskin rugs, sprigs of foilage on each beam, and twinkly lights. It truly created an intimate, magical atmosphere.
Caroline, the bride who braved the cold, looked elegant in a stunning dress from Elaine Rawlings with intricate beaded drop earrings and hair vine by Blushing Flamingos. With a dreamy up-do hair style by Emma and natural make up using soft winter hues by Amy, Caroline was complete!
Another Caroline- from Fleurtations provided the natural foliage table runners and a lush wedding bouquet full of foliage, white roses and hints of blue from one of my favourite flowers- Sea Holly.
As the third Caroline, I created the wedding stationery by painting soft blue peonies and eucalyptus before printing onto handmade paper. They were finished with silk ribbon, pressed flowers and calligraphy envelopes to capture the natural, organic and simplistic essence. This was carried through to the menus, place names, table number, table plan and welcome sign that I created for a cohesive look.
All in all we collaborated together to create an inspiring photoshoot that was immersed in nature but was also elegant and simple with hints of blue, silver and green throughout.
